This Privacy Policy explains how KPI Communications A/S, CVR: 30179390 (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the AI-powered visualization tools at reimagine.nu

KPI Communications A/S, CVR: 30179390, solely acts as the Data Controller for the processing of your personal data in the image you provide “input image” and the image you generate using Google Firebase and Google Gemini infrastructure “output image”.

PLEASE NOTE: Personal data in the picture you upload (“input image”) and any personal data that can be deduced from this image, including all use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be carried out by Google Firebase and Google Gemini subject to the data controllership of Google and the following Terms & Conditions (Google Cloud & AI Prohibited Use):

2. Information We Collect

To provide the Service, we process the following categories of data:

• Original Photos: Any and all images you provide.

• AI-Generated Content: The output image created by the Gemini Nano Banana tool.

• The Reimagine interface facilitates the transfer of the image to Google: At which point Google’s service terms and processing take effect

• Technical Data: We automatically collect certain technical information via Google Firebase, such as IP addresses (processed temporarily for function execution), device types, and operating systems.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data for the following purpose of delivering the Service :

• Service Delivery: To exhibit your AI portrait, we process your personal data based on your Explicit Consent for processing image data (Article 6(1)(a)).

• Community Gallery (Optional): If you choose to opt-in, we display your generated portrait in our public gallery. The legal basis is Explicit Consent.

• Safety and Security: To prevent abuse, detect prohibited content, and ensure the integrity of our platform.

4. Data Retention and Deletion (Our “Purge” Commitment)

We adhere to the principle of data minimization and store your data only as long as necessary for the campaign:

• Original Photos: Your original uploaded photo is used solely for the generation process and is permanently deleted from our active processing cache within 24 hours.

• Generated Portraits: Your AI-generated image is stored in a secure Firebase environment for 90 days to facilitate your personal use and gallery participation.

• Final Campaign Purge: Upon the conclusion of the Reimagine Campaign, all remaining user data, images, and metadata will be permanently and irretrievably purged from our systems.

  5. Data Processors and Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

As part of using the Service personal data will be provided to the following essential service providers:

• Google Cloud & Firebase: Acts as independent Data Controllers, providing the hosting, database, and AI inference engines (Gemini Nano Banana). Data is stored in secure Google data centers, which may be located globally under strict security standards. Processing of personal data is carried out by Google in accordance with the following terms: (Google Cloud & AI Prohibited Use)

• KPI Communications A/S: Our technical agency partner who assists with the maintenance and performance of the campaign site.

• Simply: Our domain provider, ensuring the accessibility of the site.

6. International Data Transfers

We do not transfer your personal data to third countries.

7. AI Transparency and SynthID

Consistent with the EU AI Act and Google safety policies, all images generated by our service are embedded with a SynthID watermark. This digital signature allows for the verification of the content’s AI origin and helps prevent the spread of misinformation.

8. Your Rights under the GDPR

Under the GDPR and the Danish Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:

• Access and Rectification: You can request a copy of the data we hold about you.

• Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You may request the deletion of your generated images at any time by contacting us.

• Withdrawal of Consent: You can withdraw your consent for gallery participation at any time.

• Rights of Deceased Persons: In accordance with Danish law, we respect the 10-year protection period for the personal data of deceased individuals.
